Research Notes: According to Gérard-Marc Braud's book: Les acadiens en France, Cécile Lagarenne, widow of Augustin Guérard received relief as a refugee in Nantes, france in 1820, being 74 years old at the time. It is noted also: The 2 eldest children, Frédéric & Bonne Marie Adelaide left Nantes, France with their grandfather François-Xavier Landry (aged 60) on the ship l'Amitié (No.12) on 20 August 1785, accompanied by a cousin, Jean-Charles Landry. Cécile Lagarenne remained in Nantes, where she received relief in 1794 and in 1820 at the age of 74.
